The picture is of my sisters and me on my 4th birthday. The tallest girl is my oldest sister, not my mother. My mother took the picture.
I am a Baptist, a Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. And currently, I am unemployed so although I have plenty of sewing time on my hands, I have no money to buy material for ANY projects! I've been trying to brush up on my office skills. I am interested in old fashioned quilts. Mostly made in my mothers girlhood and yourn adult timel. She was born in 1918 so 1928 till 1949 when I was born. I remember snuggling under the quilting frame with a quilt. The quilts in the frame being quilted ( when I was a child) were copies of the ones which my mother had worked on when she was younger. |
